NBA Live 08 on PC adds an assortment of new features to the core graphics engine and play modes featured in NBA Live 07. One of the key components in the next-gen versions, 'go-to moves,' is included to help further distinguish star players from the typical NBA athlete. Kobe Bryant's spin and fadeaway, Tony Parker's hesitation and quick acceleration, and Dwayne Wade's step-back jumper are just some of the moves available. The inclusion of color-coded 'hot spots' will help players quickly identify the most effective shooting areas on the court based on an athlete's real-life tendencies. Other key features include a more streamlined control scheme, improved rebounding logic, a new player fatigue system, and team-specific play styles. In addition to the standard dynasty, season, and exhibition matches, players can compete in the FIBA World Championship as one of eight international teams or as any of the 30 NBA squads.
